What Causes Sharp Pain That Radiates From The Navel To The Urethra?

I have a sharp pain that goes from navel down to my urethra. I am a 15 year old female and I have only had this about maybe 10 times in my life. It comes rarely, I generally feel it when I stretch backwards and the pain shoots from my belly button down to my crotch. It hurts when I pee, and at the moment I have to poop but I can because it hurts to strain the slightest bit. I tired taking a hot bath and that didn t help. It makes me want to stay completely still and not move because when I do move it hurts, so when I have to move I just walk hunched over. Please help because this is very uncomfortable.

Hi,

It can be due to some minor stones or calculi somewhere in your urinary tract. You can take analgesics like mefenamic acid or Acetaminophen for pain relief. Also take plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. If symptoms persist you can consult a urologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
