What Causes Sharp Rib Cage Pain?

hi im a 32 year old female,i've been getting sharp pains under my left rib cage that sometimes moves around to my back,could it just be wind?Its been happening for about 2 weeks almost everday,i have recently lost about 13 kilos over the course of a year,a pack a day smoker,exercise regularly,and i eat healthy most days.

After going through your suffering, the pain could be of costochondritis (painful when ribs are pressed), may be relieved by following measure along with the drugs like ibuprofen-
1. Avoiding unnecessary exercise or activities that make the symptoms worse; avoid contact sports until there is improvement in symptoms, and then return to normal activities only as tolerated.
2. Rib belt along with hot water fomentation helps.
Regarding weight loss my advise would be go for blood test like blood sugar level and thyroid profile.
If the problem persists you may see a doctor to rule out the other possibilities.
