What Causes Shingles On The Inner Arm?

Is it possible to get shingles on the inner arm? I have had a rash appear - red at first then blistering. It not been sore but is extremely itchy. The rash does not encircle the arm but is only on the inner side from wrist to elbow. I have had it for than a week. I would appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Hi. Yes, shingles can affect any part of body and your description appears to be consistent with shingles. If its already there for 7 days, you dont need antivirals now (unless its ulcerated or there is some complications). Symptomatic management is all required. Hope it helps
