What Causes Shivering Alongwith Sweating After Taking Vyvnase?

i took 140 mg of vyvanse it is an ADHD drug and I am shaking and freezing cold yet I am sweating. My stomach is also causing me some pain and when i stood up i felt very weak. Do you know what is going on? I am sorry for asking on here I just do not know what to do. I am trying very hard not to contact my personal physician. I did not take this drug out of self harm, I took it to help me study better. Yes I am aware how stupid that was!

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Vyvanse is Amphetamine drug and the drug is a stimulant drug. The drug stimulates brain and help in improved focus. But it is known to result in sympathetic system which cause severe anxiety like situation some time. The symptoms like shakiness, cold feeling, sweating etc all are due to that intense stimulation and no need to worry. If we consider normal dose of drug then that is about 30-70 mg per day in normal healthy person. You have taken very high dose i.e 140 mg and this has caused toxicity like symptoms.

Please consult your doctor if symptoms persist and avoid taking such high doses without prescription in future.
