What Causes Shivering, Excessive Thirst And Body Ache?
My husband has been having excessive shivering episodes, is very thirsty, has had aching bones and a feeling of fatigue for over a week now. At the beginning of the week he also experienced severe sweating at night but that seems to have stopped now. His hands and feet are very cold. He doesn t have the common cold , isn t overweight, has lost his appetite somewhat. He is 70 years. What do you think this could be?
It could be symptoms of malaise, and it may be due to infection viral infection is likely to condition but looking to his age other possible causes needs to be ruled out too, like bacterial infection some systemic disease, endocrine disorders, renal function disorders collagen disease and other, some time general debility could be the cause, overall it is advisable to get done the complete medical check-up, here I won't advise you to treat the symptoms, but underlying cause of malaise is a matter of concern.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
