What Causes Shivering Of Hands And Hair Fall?

Hi.. my brother is of 26 yrs age.weight is 64 kg and height is 5.7 ft. he is taking valparin chrono 300 fort the last 4 yrs.he takes 2 tabs in the morning and two tabs at night.I want to know what are the side effects...his hands shiver his hair is also falling a little.Is it due to the heavy dosr of medicines taken everyday?? plz reply

Valparin Chrono 300 contains sodium valproate and valproic acid that belongs to the group of medications known as anticonvulsants is used in the treatment of seizures or fits, bipolar disorders and in the prevention of migraine. It may cause shaking or trembling of the hands or feet, shivering, hair loss or thinning of the hair, ringing or buzzing in the ears, hearing loss, heartburn, impaired vision, loss of strength, problems with memory, voice changes, weight gain, allergic reactions etc.

If you experience these side effects during taking this medication or you think, these side effects may be resulted from higher dose of Valparin Chrono, then you should consult your doctor first for medical help.
