What Causes Shortness Of Breath While Treating UTI?
Hello - I have a few odd, and what seem as, non-related symptoms. I have been fatigued lately (last week or so) and have had intermittent shortness of breath. I was diagnosed with a UTI today, so think the fatigue may be related to that, but now the intermittent shortness of breath has resulted in my coughing each time I take a deep breath. Unrelated? Should I be concerned? Thanks!
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The shortness of breath may be from underlying respiratory infection, low immunity of lungs due to underlying infection, side effects of UTI medicines or others.
I recommend systemic evaluation with a physician to find out the basic cause and manage accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
