Hello. I am experiencing a shortness of breath, where I feel that I can't get enough air into my lungs. There is a sort of tightness or heaviness on my chest, mainly around my sternum. My breathing is a bit erratic. My heartbeat seems fast and maybe possibly harder than usual. I feel lightheaded and like I am slightly lacking in motor skills. I called a nurse and she said she thinks it's probably a panic attack, but it's been happening for over an hour now. She said I could probably go to the ER just in case, but I am trying to avoid going if it is just a panic attack. I haven't been thinking about anything stressful or feeling anxious today.
