Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I m a 28 yo female. I started back in January with shortness of breathe and tachycardia. I have been admitted several times for this but since I m young all the doctors say it s anxiety. It s not anxiety. It s so different. All my ekgs I have had done since 2010, shows non specific St depression and non specific t wave abnormality. Again I m always told it s ok. My shortness of breathe and tachycardia has progressively gotten worse since January. I had a stress echo with should ischemia with dyskinesis so they did a cardiac cath but said it was ok. I m losing faith in the physicians I m seeing bc they don t take me seriously. My heart rate is all over the place. It will be 110 one minute then 145 the next. I m just looking for some advice. Thank you.
Hi welcome to HCM. Persistent non specific ST-T wave changes nee.d to carefully evaluated in your case.Stress induced cardiac dyskinesis with normal coronaries on angiography can point to some rhythm disturbances of the heart. This can accurately be evaluated through electrophysiological studies of the heart.A 24 hr holter ecg can also be done.Drugs like antiarrythmics can be useful in such condition.Consult your cardiologist for further queries. Thank you
