Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Your symptoms could be related to a musculoskeletal issue.

An inflammatory disorder (including pleuritis) can not be excluded.

The headache could be related to tension type headache which is a benign condition, but a temporal arteritis can not be excluded either.

Is the headache like pressure or throbbing? Is is associated with blurring vision?

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical check up and some tests:

-a chest X ray study
-a cervical spine X ray study to exclude possible cervical bulging intervertebral disc
-complete blood count, sedimentation rate and PCR for inflammation.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards, Dr. Aida
