Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had shoulder pain on my left one a few weeks ago. The doctors gave me a cortical steroid shot and after a few days the pain went away. Now the pain is back. I have heard of a frozen shoulder or tendinitis. I dont do any exercising or heavy lifting so we are unsure of what initiated the initial pain.
Your symptoms seem to be related to tendinitis of the shoulder. I recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day. I also recommend physical therapy to help recovery the movement of the shoulder.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
