What Causes Sickness, Syncope With High White Blood Cells And Cardiac Enzyme?

Hi, my father was taken to the hospital earlier after feeling sick suddenly and almost passing out. He's been in the ER for a long time, and the doctors haven't told my mom much. The EMTs said that it's possible that he could have a blood clot in his leg, but he might have also just gotten dehydrated.

I'm worried that it was a heart attack. The doctors have only told my mom that my father's white blood cells and a cardiac enzyme are both a little high, but they didn't say anything else.

Do you have some idea what might be going on?
