what home remedies can i use right now. im congested. ive been congested for the last 2 months. my Dr. prescribe a medication that started with a B. In syrup form. but it never did work. i just need my sinus cleared so i can sleep. Im afraid to take anything for congestion because i took tynol 3 with codine an hour ago. its not making me drowsy. But my sinus is bad

You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room.. You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods.. Do warm compresses around nostrils..
