What Causes Skin Darkening Around The Umbilicus During Pregnancy?
Ive had my belly button pierced for 7 years and I am currently 29 weeks pregnant I took my belly button ring out about a week ago as I noticed the skin around the piercing getting darker! It s now pretty dark and doesn t look nice and was wondering whether this would go or fade or whether it would stay like this forever?

It is very common to have this darkening so much so that it is considered as an indirect evidence of pregnancy.
It may persist but usually ets back to normal after pregnancy.
