Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Skin Itchiness, Headache And Vomiting Despite Taking Montair?
I have taken Augmentin 625Duo tablets & feeling some allergic reactions such as skin itching, breathing trouble, headache, vomiting. So I take Montair LC one tablet after my doctor told but continuously I m feeling same problem should I take one more Montair LC TABLET again.
First of all, you have to stop taking Augmentin as you developed a hypersensitivity reaction. For treatment of allergy or hypersensitivity reaction, one can take low-sedating antihistamine Levocetirizine. A Leukotriene receptor antagonist such as Montelukast, can be important add-on therapy.
In a given case combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast can be administered even for days together or longer.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
