What Causes Skin Patches In The Genital Region? Is There Any Home Remedy For That?
Hi. About 4-5 months ago, I noticed I was starting to develop patches of skin that seem to be losing their pigment in my genital region. These patches seem to be getting larger, but very slowly, and new ones are developing. There is no itching or flaking of the skin. I recently moved to a new city so I do not have a family doctor yet. I am wondering if there is anything that I can try at home before I am able to make an appointment with a doctor or if this is a serious condition that should be looked at right away.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to Vitiligo which is related to skin pigmentation. Vitiligo is a skin condition that causes spots or patches of skin to lose melanin. A photo would be very helpful through the diagnosis. If the diagnosis is confirmed, vitiligo doesn't have any specific treatment.
