Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having 50-60 skipped heart beats a day for the last 5 months. I have had several test and everything appears to be normal. I currently have an appt with a cardio dr. But could you give me a clue what this could be I am going to be 53 in a few weeks. I am female.
hello i have gone through your query. i can understand your concern. before i would comment on the missed or skipped beats i want to know if you are having any symptoms like loss of consciousness or dizziness. have you done an EKG or a holter monitoring. if you dont have any symptoms then 50-60 beats per day are harmless. however for youe safety i want to rule out any cardiac element. dont be tense. do an EKG, TMT (TREADMILL TEST) and holter monitoring. Wishing you good health thank you
