What Causes Slight Pain At Right Side Of Lower Abdomen?

Hi,
I have been trying to conceive for some months now.My ovulation was on the 15th and my husband and i had sex.and for soms days now have been feeling a slight pain at my lower abdomen and my right side. could i be pregnant? i want to know before my next period. Is this a sign or what?

Hello,

Such pain in not a sign of pregnancy but it can be indicative of ectopic pregnancy. In case you miss your periods entirely then you should do a pregnancy test with the first morning mid-stream urine. Get a vaginal examination done with your OBGYN to detect bulky uterus. Get USG (Uterus and fallopian tube) done to detect ectopic pregnancy or pregnancy. If you are not pregnant then other underlying medical condition like appendicitis, gall stones, gastroenteritis, abdominal muscle strain, etc., may be responsible for such symptoms. Test to rule out those.
