General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of being 34 years old, slightly high cholesterol and pinching feeling in the left side of the abdomen.
No other symptoms at all.
This indicates that you are most probably having the problems of mild colitis or may be UTI with ureteric colic.
This can be diagnosed by:
Clinical evaluation, examination by a Doctor, preferably a General Surgeon and investigations as per the clinical findings and get an appropriate diagnosis.
Also send your stool for tests and if any infection, you will be given a course of an antibiotic.
Take PPI, antacid, activated charcoal and you may be fine.
