Hello dear Understand your concern Misoprostol is used for medical termination of early intrauterine pregnancy up to 63 days of pregnancy. For safe practice and to avoid future complication, it should be used under the supervision and guidance of gynecologist. It should be not used repeatedly as it affects the future pregnancy. 800 ug vaginally every 6 hourly maximum up to 3 dose should be taken under observation. Following are the causes of slight positive pregnancy test and slight vaginal bleeding: Incomplete abortion (you did not follow the standard dose, schedule), retain product of pregnancy. Please consult the gynecologist and get the USG done for incomplete abortion. It should be treated by surgical evacuation/ D& C. Use safe sex practice and avoid repeated use of abortion pill, Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
