What Causes Slobbering From Mouth And Staggering While Standing Up?
Hi I am 78 years of age, quite frequently I slobber from the left side of my mouth. Lately I seem to stagger quite often when I first stand up. Had a triple by;pas Last year, other than being twenty lbs. overweight I enjoy good health and have lots of energy. Could I have your comments? Thank You.

Welcome to hcm, Elderly people having shaking is mostly due to Parkinson's disease other causes include thyroid overactity hypoglycemia. But in your case I feel it is mostly due to parkinsonism. Better to consult a neurologist to confirm the diagnosis and start treatment. Hope this explains With regards Dr.Amarnath
