Hello,

It is good to know that you had STD tests done and the reports are negative. You are getting recurrent small bumps on the inside of the vagina that are itchy and hence uncomfortable. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene. Poor hygiene, use of public toilets and washrooms, wearing unclean undergarments, douching, wearing ornaments in the private parts often leads to rashes and bumps in the labia and vagina.

Take regular bath, change your under garments and clothes daily. Wear cotton undies and clothes. Do not douche, do not wear ornaments in private parts, it may cause skin reactions. Apply hydrocortisone cream or Clotrimazole cream on the area affected and do not touch or scratch. If sexually active, avoid sex for a couple of days. Stay well hydrated. Get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done, if report is positive you will be treated with antibiotics & antivirals.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
