My 10 year old daughter yesterday showed small lumps under the skin on her face - not in great quantities and not reddened at all. Over the last 24 hrs, they have increased slightly and become reddened - still only on her face (not scalp). She is perfectly fine within herself - no loss of appetite - her only complaint is mild itchiness. I don t want to keep her off school unless necessary, but I don t want to trouble the GP s unless necessary either.
As your daughter is adolescent n she is having small lumps on her face which reddened in 24 hrs, its most likely acne, caused by a bacteria growing in our sebaceous glands. Visit your GP coz visual inspection is important to access whether to give topical retionds or oral isoretinoin. Do not worry coz its quite common in adolescents
