What Causes Small Light Colored Freckles On My Legs?

Suddenly I have small light colored freckles all over my legs and arms especially after removal of neurofibromas were removed from both feet. What is going on? Please don t charge me as my husband s medical bills from his leukemia treatment are huge. Thank you ahead of time.
