What Causes Small Lumps On The Breast In An Elderly Person?

yes I have a question for you. my 70 year old aunt was diagnosed with cml 14 years ago and it has been in remission for a long time. She has in the last few months developed some lumps on her breasts and other parts of her body, been seeing the back dr regularly, having bloodwork done every 6 weeks, getting forgetful, and from what I understand the drs are wanting to do colonoscopies and pap tests on her regularly. The family is asking for help to get thru it but don t want to give any info. I know they are hiding something. Does this mean her cml has come out of remission or has she developed another kind of cancer?

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I do understand your pain and discomfort.
As per your history is concerned do a biopsy of her lumps and the cytology will tell what is it and has it connected with primary disease or not.So nothing to hide .If lumps are painless it is 100% cancers.
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks
