I have orange spots on the back of my throat which is causing it to be sore, I went to the doctors and the nurse told me to gargle aspirin and swallow it. This doesn t seem to be working and it s getting sorer day by day, I m extremely worried as they are spreading. What is it and how can I treat it?
Hello, welcome to healthcare the spots you are mentioning are lymphoid follicles. If you were my patient, I would have prescribed the same but since you are telling you are not getting any benefits, I would suggest you to start anti allergics like montelukast with cetrizine for 10 days. You will be alright. Of course continue aspirin gargles for 15 days at least
