What Causes Small Pockets Of Fluid On Both The Wrists?
I have small pockets of fluid on both of my wrists. They do not cause pain or discomfort. I can push down on them, and they will disappear. If I push on another part of my wrist, they ll refill and appear again. I m just curious as to what causes these to appear, and what they re called. I ve had them for years, and have never bothered having them looked at. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
Hello, I have studied your case and I think that you are having ganglionic cyst. There is collection of fluid in the tendon sheath and it give rise to swelling. If it is not giving you any problem than you can get it removed surgically. If there is no pain than it can be safely ignored. It can also be treated with steroid injection and aspiration techniques but it can reoccur. So best method of treatment is to removed it surgically. I hope this treatment will be helpful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. Thanks
