What Causes Small Purplish Lump On Labia?
Hi. I noticed a small purplish lump on my labia very close to my clitoris yesterday evening. It isn t sore or painful and looks like its under the skin rather than ontop. It s ball shaped and sphere rather than semi circle sitting on top of the skin and quite hard. I have poked at it but haven t been able to burst it or anything like that. I m a virgin so it can t be an STD can u help?

Understand your concern.
I think it may be cyst that is common in vaginal area.
I think it is skene's duct cyst: It look like pimple near the urethra.
It require no treatment.
But if associated with itching, redness and pain , it require drainage and antibiotics
Following are the other cause of lump in vagina:
1. Blocked hair follicle
2. Blocked sweat gland
3. Fordyce cyst
4. Molluscum contagium
5. Bartholin cyst: rare
All this cyst are pain less and harmless genereally.
Do not pop up , it causes infection and bleeding
But if it is very large and assosiated with pain, dysuria, fever, itching , redness and foul smelling vaginal discharge.
Then
You should think about STDs and would like to test for STDs and
And consult to doctor for drianage and take antibiotics.
Also maintain hygiene and keep the area dry.
