What Causes Small Pus Filled Lumps At The Roof Of The Mouth?
I have several small tonsil sized lumps at the back of my tongue on the roof of my mouth. They have a slightly hard Pus inside that I sometimes cough up. Its squishy and it tastes and looks like tooth plaque. Its not sore and its the same colour as my mouth.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain small bumps at the back of roof of mouth that are squishy and looks like tooth plaque can be tonsil stones or tonsilloliths and are formed due to calcification of debris and food particles that get accumulated over the tonsils.. You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be diagnostic and in case of tonsil stones manual removal will be done.. To prevent recurring formation you should do warm saline gargles. Gargle with solution of hydrogen peroxide and water.. Always gargle after meals and limit intake of dairy products..
Hope this information helps..
