What Causes Small Red Bumps On The Shoulder And Legs?

Hi,, My name is harish Age 26 years. Problem: Red color bubbles will popup daily on shoulders, legs and on stomach from last 3 weeks. i consulted doctor, got blood test report also following are the tablets and blood test report tablets: Atarax 10mg (took 6 tablets from last week) Zentel 400mg (took 1 tablet) Blood test report haemoglobin reference range 14.5 - 15.5gm/dl.... observed value 15.8 gm/dl Absolute eiosinophil count reference range 45-440 cells/cumm... observed value 774 cells/cumm

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small red bumps on the shoulder and legs. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infections of bacteria or viruses , hives, reaction to an irritant or allergen , angioedema, contact dermatitis or eczema. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to clean bump with betadine , wear loose cloths , apply petroleum jelly , protect it from sun exposure and take antihistamine like benadryl . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like skin patch test , blood test and physical examination to check tenderness and consistency. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , immunosuppressants , corticosteroid ointment or recommend surgical excision .
