What Causes Small Red Colour Spots Under The Skin Of Hands?

I am a healthy 61 year old woman who has been getting small red spots on/under my skin for several months which appear and then disappear after a week or so, always on my forearms or hands. No itching, no irritation, and they always disappear, only to appear somewhere else in the same few areas.
