Sometimes I notice more when I am at work sitting that a smell comes from way back in my throat or something. No one else seems to smell it but me. I do not know what this is. It seems to be coming from my esophgus and not my mouth. Please help. Disregard my question as I did know you have to pay to receive the answer. I will contact my DR. if I feel it s necassary. Thank you!!
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. The causes for the halitosis are any gum infection secondary to deposits over the teeth or it can be secondary to throat infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and ENT Surgeon and get it evaluated. If there is gum infection, then you need to get your teeth cleaned. If there is throat infection then you can take a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin(if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
