What Causes Sore Area Inside Upper Lip?

Hello. One day I woke up and on the right side of my upper lip there is an area inside the lip. That feels like a sore muscle or like I hit myself with something on the lip (which is not the case) When I press on it its painful but is completly invisible when I look in the mirror. It's been two days and it doesn't feel like anything has changed. I'm just confused as to what it is.
