What Causes Sore Bleeding Throat After Having IUD?
my daughter (19) has not been able to use oral contraceptives because of various reactrions. a week ago, she got an iud. now, she has chills, sore bleeding throat. she went to a clinic today & the doctor has never seen this - even asked her if she smokes (never). could there be a link between her throat (sore & bleeding) & iud. She had wisdom teed removed a couple of months ago & developed absess at that time.

No it is not ,bleeding throat is not due to IUD ,may be you have throat infection ,you can do gargling and see
