What Causes Sore Breast And Discharge With Negative Pregnancy Tests?

My husband is fixed and I just got off the depo shot in March. Since early April, my breasts have been really sore. I milked myself so to speak and a yelling liquid came out. It looked like colostrum. I ve taken 5 pregnancy tests in the last 2 months and all of them were negative. Is there a chance I m pregnant? Or is there another serious underlying health issue?

Hello,
Since you were on the Depo shot until March, withdrawal effects can be observed. Also, establishment of regular ovulation can be had in one or two cycles. Without knowing the ovulation status, home pregnancy tests are of not much use. It is ideal to go for an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres two weeks from the last act of intercourse, or a week or ten days after ovulation, if it can be noted. A clinical evaluation followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram further help in the management. Please maintain a healthy weight and a healthy diet. Take care.
