Hello, I have been having a sore feeling in the upper part of my left testicle for a few days now. It has not gotten worse and it is not painful. Just a constant soreness that I can sometimes feel in the lower left part of my stomach. I have no signs of fever or any other illness. I have, however, been under a lot of stress recently. Should I be concerned and go see a doctor or is this symptom of stress that does not require medical treatment? Age: 27 Height: 6 feet Weight: 163 lbs No previous medical history Best, Kasper
HI Kasper. The Stress can not cause such type of pains .The sore feeling in the upper part of left testicle can be mostly due to : Varicocele- that is collection of the dilated veins, Epididymo-orchitis, Testicular Cancer. The best investigation to start with is ultrasonography with color doppler of the scrotum and the abdomen to find our the lymph nodes. This can be confirmed by clinical examination and an MRI. The treatment may be medical or surgical depending upon the diagnosis .
This can not be really due to Stress alone.
