My left nipple is sore, hard, and when i squeeze it a white pus comes out. My nipple have always had white heads but when i gave squeezed them previously the pus was thick almost solid but this time around it was more liquid like. Is my left breast infected?
white or yellow cloudy discharge or pus from breast or nipple is a sign of 'BREAST INFECTION'. It is usually caused by bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) normally seen in the skin and find its way into the nipple through a crack in the skin resulting in an ' abscess '. I advise you to: - Take analgesics for pain - Course of antibiotics - Keep ice pack and completely dry your nipple before dressing up - If abscess is there, then draining under USG guidance
