What Causes Sore Red Bumps On The Neck?
Yesterday I noticed a red bump on my neck which I thought was a bug bite...similar in appearance (size, color) but it hurt like a bruise. I didn t think anything of it until I noticed this morning I had another one. Same size, same color, and on my neck as well. They feel sore like a bruise feels. What could it be?

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is papular urticaria or insect bite hypersensitivity.You should try to use mosquito nets as much as possible. Topical mild steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
