What Causes Sore Throat After Cataract Surgery With Local Anaesthesia?
Hi, I had cataract surgery yesterday and came into the recovery room with a raging sore throat that was so inflamed I couldn't swallow the crackers they gave me. Within an hour and a half I was able to swallow the cracker but the sore throat lasted until this evening. I had local anesthesia into my arm so why did this happen? I saw my surgeon today but she's not sure since she did the surgery and not the anesthesia. Thanks!
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it is the allergic condition and it may not be due to cataract surgery or due to any anesthetic agent some time it could be viral infection just wait for some time it would be oaky soon hope this information helps.
