A month ago, I had impacted ear wax, doctor flushed out both ears. I was fine until about 2 wks. ago. Now, every other day, I wake up with sore throat, hard to swallow on left side of throat and my ear hurts. What could be the problem? (i also had severe bronchitis about a mo ago and was treated with antibiotics and prednisone.)
Need not to worry about it. Visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done. Go for otoscopic examination and start treatment accordingly. I would suggest you to
- Gargle warm saline rinses.
- Take diet rich in multivitamins.
- You should take proper course of antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medications as well.
- Take steam inhalation through nose and mouth will help including the ear discomfort.
- Avoid carbonated beverages.
- Drink plenty of water as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
