I just finished my first period a couple days ago since having my first baby 8 months ago. This morning I woke up with a sore throat, Headache, fever. Since then I ve devolved chills and had a horrible nausea/ dizzy spell the point where I almost fell over. I have a aches and pains in my joints and throughout my body.

You need to take anti inflammatory painkiller as Ibuprofen 400 mg two times a day for the fever, body aches and sore throat, drink plenty of fluids and rest. If the fever and the sore throat doesn't improve, or it get's worse, you should go to the ER to perform a physical examination because this might also be caused from a streptococus acute tonsillitis and needs antibiotic treatment.
