What Causes Sore Throat And Painful Swallowing?

i was drinking friday night no different than i normally do, i woke up sat morning and was throwing up all day till 6pm couldnt keep no drink down at all, about half hour after i stopped being sick i ate some toast and drank some red bull and my throut and top of my mouth stung really bad, its not so sore now but still stings when i swallow, do you know why, thanks

Regarding your query for sore throat with painful swallowing I would like to say that after co-relating facts of your clinical history it appears as you are having any of these-
1- Acute sore throat with acute follicular tonsillitis.
2- Sore throat with Quincy.
3- Sore throat with ulcer over uvula and palate.
4- Acute Laryngopharyngitis.
All above have got their own clinical features and findings and that may be easily diagnosed by your ENT doctor. So please consult your ENT specialist as to avoid complications. Till you are waiting for specialist you may take-
(a) Tab Paracetamol.
(b) Warm saline gargling.
(c) Anti histaminic and decongestant.
(d) Adequate fluid orally.
I hope above will give you some relief.
