What Causes Sore Throat, Cold And White/yellow Tonsils?

Hi, I have frequent sore throats and colds, and my doctors always say it s normal. I have tonsil stones which they say are normal, but under my tonsils there s a strip of tissue which is there always - even when I m not sick - and it s white/yellow. Is this normal? Is there just tissue there that everyone has that is not the normal pink color?

Hi , Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum .

I have read your query and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are having
Chronic tonsillitis.

It is not normal , you are having whitish infected material inside tonsil .

I would advice prescribe you
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily & Plenty of fluids .
Consider for tonsillectomy if it is affecting your routine life .
