What Causes Sore Throat, Cough And Post Nasal Drip?
I have had cold symptoms for some time. Nasal drip, sore throat, cough. Dr. thinks it is an allergy because of the pollen count in michigan. Today I have a slight fever and continual post nasal drip. Fever is 99.3 Am drinking ginger ale to try to lower the fever. Am also taking Robitussin and Zyrtec. What else should I do
It looks like you have viral infection causing the following symptoms.. Common cold and flu can represent such symptoms..
As viral infection runs its course, taking supportive treatment can help in providing symptomatic relief from the symptoms..
So you can continue taking Zyrtec and Robitussin and along with it you can also take Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen combination to relieve fever and pain.. You can start gargling with warm salt water and suck throat lozenges.. Chew a Vitamin C pellet.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
