What Causes Sore Throat Followed By Breathing Difficulty?
Started with a mild sore throat a couple days ago then got worst. Started to get congested and having difficulties breathing. Now on day 4, I have loss my voice and got severe congestion with dark colored mucus.Head also feels very heavy due to congestion. Should I see a doctor?
Your auscultation should be done to look for if honchi heard.... If it is present than bronchodilator prescribed like doxyphilin or short term steroid to relieve inflammatory swelling....
CBC, CRP and chest x ray done as per requirement....
Your voice affected so laryngitis also might be there.... So I think doctor will give you short term steroid for relief from inflammation...
If eosinophils high than Allegra might be given...
Take care
Advise : Physician or pulmonologist consultation for examination and further up
