What Causes Sore Throat With Continuous Coughing?

I am thirteen years old and on friday I woke up with a sore throat. I kept coughing, and after awhile i assumed it was strep. I looked up syptoms online, and I learned that strep comes with no cough. I looked up my other symptoms online: Runny nose (with green mucus), deep cough (green mucus) and now I have lost my voice. I have asthma and I don t think it s bronchitis. I also sing alot, and now I m maybe thinking it is laryingitis. Can you help?

Hello,

It may be due to sore throat.

For that you may require complete hemogram, throat swab after ENT consultation.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

Continue saline or betadine gargles twice a day.

Take hygienic food and water

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
