It seems you are having an infection of your upper respiratory tract and throat. Green secretions indicate a most probable bacterial infection. Since you have had sinus congestion before, a chronic sinusitis may have been installed. Green discharge, bad smell from mouth or nose may occur in these cases. Your tonsills, pharynx, and ear tubes may have been affected too, causing soreness, pain, lymph nodes enlargement etc. If I would be your primary doctor I would recommend you a cure with Azithromycin, or Clarithromycin orally to treat the infection, nose decongestants drops (xylometazolin), anti inflammatory drugs and mucolytics to remove the excessive mucus.
