My 4 year old daughter has a low grade fever on and off for 2 days, sore throat, red tonsils and tiny red spots on her tongue. She complains of her tongue and throat hurting. Should I take her to the doctor? I dont see any white spots on her tonsils or tongue.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to a strep throat. I suggest to see a pediatrician to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile,I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Tylenol to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest to gargle with salty water.
Hope my answer was helpful.
