Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past 3 months, I ve noticed that my pads of my thumbs are sore and tender to the touch. My hands feel weak ...like I couldn t hold onto something for a long time. They also have a cramping feeling. Not really painful, but it s like they are hard to open and close and kind of get stuck. It s like my thumb is getting pulled down to touch my palm. I ve been trying to massage the pads of my thumbs and my forearms, and have been making fists and slowly opening them up...but it s not working. Any ideas what could possibly be going on?
