What Causes Soreness And Bumps On Throat?

I have a sore throat and yellow bumps on the back of my throat and its bloodshot also there is a lot of swelling to my tonsils. They started to dissapear but their back and i took some anti biotics but they havent worked. What is this and what should i do about it?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have a bacterial throat infection leading to Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis and yellow bumps seems to be pus pockets secondary to infection..
As the symptoms are back there is a possibility that the infection has recurred..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be advised..
You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics like Azithromycin.
Take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
You can suck throat lozenges and chew a Vitamin C pellet..
You can sip on plenty of warm water..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
